Director, Impact Acceleration

At ECMC Group, we're committed to helping students succeed. As a key leader in our Education Impact Fund, you'll play a critical role in driving impact and financial returns. Collaborate with our team to develop and implement impact acceleration strategies, lead impact evaluation and diligence, and oversee impact reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement impact acceleration strategies and approaches
  • Lead impact evaluation and diligence on prospective investments
  • Oversee impact measurement, reporting, and analytics for portfolio companies
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and consultant for portfolio companies
  • Identify and lead impact acceleration projects
  • Partner with ECMC Group leaders and business partners to activate internal opportunities
  • Build and maintain industry networks to support deal sourcing and impact measurement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field, or Master's degree with 7+ years of experience
  • 8+ years of work experience in strategy, consulting, or leadership roles at startups
  • Experience in project leadership, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to craft and deliver compelling analyses and presentations
  • Strong relationships with colleagues, entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of work experience in education or workforce development
  • Demonstrated interest in social impact or impact investing
