Job Title: Senior Director of Finance and Investment

Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for impact investing? Do you have a strong background in financial analysis and modeling? We are seeking a Senior Director of Finance and Investment to join our team at the Global Impact Investing Network.

Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Finance and Investment will be responsible for leading our investment management efforts, providing financial analysis and modeling support, and promoting learning and collaboration across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead investment management efforts, including pipeline building, review of investment memos and financial models, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Provide financial analysis and modeling support to investment teams, including financial systems and investment landscape analysis.
  • Promote learning and collaboration across the organization, including identifying learning needs and opportunities, and supporting the development of tools and learning products.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including developing and refining impact measurement frameworks for impact funds.
  • Provide technical support to financial services and investment facilitation components and work streams on projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in investment or finance, including overseas work, plus three (3) years of managerial experience.
  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, international development, or related field.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with significant work experience in private equity or investment strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English required, with fluency in Russian, French, and/or Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to write in another language preferred.
