We are seeking a skilled Manager of Revenue Accounting Operations to join our dynamic team. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are critical for success in this role.


**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Revenue Oversight: Manage revenue recognition protocols and accounts receivable. Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Revenue Cycle Management teams to improve efficiencies and establish best practices.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement robust processes and controls to ensure the completeness and accuracy of revenue recognition, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monthly Close Management: Prepare and review essential month-end documentation with FP&A and Revenue Cycle Management to guarantee precise revenue recognition.
  • Policy Development: Aid in the revision of revenue recognition policies and documentation in line with US GAAP and ongoing technical accounting research.
  • General Ledger Oversight: Supervise the general ledger to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper coding.
  • Reconciliation and Journal Entries: Prepare and review accounting reconciliations and approve related journal entries.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicate changes in contractual adjustments and necessary bad debt reserves with relevant teams.
  • Financial Closing: Ensure timely and accurate financial closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, while enhancing close and reporting cycles.
  • Transaction Analysis: Identify recurring and non-recurring transactions for management reporting.
  • Internal Control Development: Create and enforce effective internal controls in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Objectives Support: Assist in establishing annual financial goals that align with the company’s operational and profitability strategies.
  • Project Management: Oversee additional projects as required, such as system upgrades or implementations.

**Qualifications:**
  • Healthcare Revenue Expertise: A strong background in healthcare revenue management is preferred.
  • ERP Proficiency: Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • GAAP Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, internal controls, operational risk assessment, and financial reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to foresee issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing projects, resource allocation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to high ethical standards.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in leading a team is essential.

**Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

**Experience:**
- A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible accounting experience is required.
- Experience in public accounting with national firms through the manager level is preferred.

**Desired Qualifications:**
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of joint venture accounting.
