Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery Service at Tufts Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with a wide range of neurologic conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with resident teams to provide comprehensive care to inpatients with brain and spine conditions
  • Manage emergency room and off-service consultations, including traumas
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies
  • Initiate clinical interventions based on study results
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and consulting services
  • Perform procedural skills, such as drain removal, suturing, and arterial line placement
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • NCCPA certified
  • ACLS certified
  • Active Massachusetts Physician Assistant License
  • DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
  • 1-2 years of experience as an inpatient physician assistant preferred
