We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the Ambulatory Pulmonary Medicine department at Mass General Brigham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with pulmonary conditions
- Work collaboratively with attending physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis and process improvement projects
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in pulmonary medicine
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with pulmonary conditions
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of patients. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
