Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests, and developing plans of care.
- Work closely with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in didactic sessions, simulation training, and procedure training to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with current literature and best practices in medicine, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Master's degree from a graduate-level physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation and Review Committee for Physician Assistants (ARC-PA) or equivalent.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) must be obtained prior to first day of employment.
- Current valid license or eligibility for licensure as a physician assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
