About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Lead staff training, quality control, and in-servicing to maintain high standards
  • Coordinate and ensure the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work
  • Maintain income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment records
  • Act as liaison between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff
  • Communicate effectively with all directives from managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment
  • Assist in implementing training, quality control procedures, and in-servicing of housekeeping staff
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude, punctuality, and excellent customer service skills
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two years' experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision desired
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products
  • Must live in the service area
