Situated on a sprawling 17-acre campus, Oak Manor has been dedicated to providing exceptional skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, and independent living services for over 40 years.
We are actively seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) to enhance our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. We offer a variety of employment options, including full-time (FT), part-time (PT), and per diem (PRN) positions. Our Baylor program is available for those who prefer to work two 16-hour shifts during the weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Support residents in mobility throughout all shifts and accompany them to different areas within the community.
- Assist residents during meal times, promoting proper nutrition and meal participation.
- Manage dining environments, serve meals, and deliver trays to residents as needed.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties, including making beds, organizing clothing, and ensuring a tidy living space.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including nursing stations, to ensure safety.
- Supervise, administer, and accurately document residents' medications according to established protocols.
- Monitor residents' self-administration of medications and keep detailed records.
- Promptly report any significant changes in residents' health status to the Director of Nursing.
- Become familiar with the community's emergency and fire safety protocols and assist during emergencies.
- Respond effectively to any emergencies involving residents.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
