Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Caregiver to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Largo. As a Resident Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
  • Provide food service, housekeeping, and laundry support
  • Manage behavior and provide socialization and activities to promote engagement and well-being
  • Assist with orientation and information needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident service plans
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations, and successful completion of required training
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis
  • Full use of hands, arms, and legs for washing, bathing, dressing, writing, cleaning
