Vitamin Department Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vitamin Department Manager to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for the sales and operation of our Vitamin Department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and guidance on our wide range of supplements and related products.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable information and guidance to customers on our supplements and related products.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and beauty items in the department, and provide customers with guidance on supplements, health and beauty, and related products.
- Inventory Management: Order product and manage inventory control to ensure that our shelves are always stocked with the latest and greatest products.
- Sales and Promotions: Oversee sales and promotional events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Team Leadership: Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions, and make recommendations on merit increases via completing the bi-annual performance review process.
- Store Operations: Regularly attend and participate at in-store meetings, and take and document corrective actions when needed, including collaboration with business and HR partners in managing performance.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure maximum productivity and efficiency by creating and adjusting schedules and staffing levels.
- Communication: Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
- Experience: At least 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership experience.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills, and the ability to give and take direction.
- Physical Demands: Perform general housekeeping in the department, clean and dust, and be able to lift, stack and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Education: Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health.
- Organization and Prioritization: Have strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Adaptability: Be able to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of Reports: Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
- Customer Service: Have and show outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers.
