This role is ideal for experienced sales professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Sales Executive, Energy Procurement, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base for large strategic energy accounts (approx. 1k Mwh or 100k Therms and up). You will utilize a consultative approach to selling, establishing long-term relationships with clients and positioning our solutions to help manage energy spend related to electricity, natural gas, energy efficiency strategies, and our comprehensive suite of offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business deals through energy procurement and other solution offerings.
  • Continuously maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and potential clients.
  • Analyze and report customer positions and performances of commodity contracts.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS TO DRIVE LONG-TERM GROWTH.
  • Exceed sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Create and implement a selling strategy to meet sales targets.
  • Increase market share by generating interest and demand for our energy procurement solutions and comprehensive suite of offerings.
  • Conduct daily calls and face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects.
  • Establish relationships with C-level decision makers to expand our footprint into larger, strategic accounts.
  • Generate new business opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Input sales activity regularly into Salesforce and other tracking tools, maintaining clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members and leaders to execute sales and provide exceptional client service.
  • Adhere to company procedures, values, and policies to represent the company accurately to all potential and current customers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in energy procurement.
  • Proven track record of consistently closing large electricity, natural gas, or green energy deals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

  • Ability to sell into multiple levels of an organization and leverage competitive advantages to unseat competitor-held accounts.

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
