Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their team in downtown Denver. As a dynamic and fast-growing start-up, they are looking for someone to improve reporting processes and enhance financial visibility within the company.

Financial Analyst Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will focus on process improvement within NetSuite to enhance the clarity and accuracy of financial data. Working closely with finance and other departments, you will help drive improvements in reporting visibility, ensuring that leadership has the right data to make informed decisions.

Key Financial Analyst Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Improve the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting within NetSuite by optimizing processes and reporting structures.
  • Assist in the monthly financial close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
  • Partner with various teams to understand business needs and ensure that financial data aligns with the company's goals.
  • Review existing financial processes within NetSuite and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Handle large datasets and ensure that data is structured in a way that facilitates insightful reporting.
Required Financial Analyst Skills & Experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a proven track record of process improvement.
  • NetSuite Experience: Extensive experience using NetSuite for financial reporting and process improvements is a must.
  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to review, improve, and streamline reporting processes to enhance visibility and decision-making.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze large volumes of data and extract meaningful insights.
  • Excel Expertise: Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in functions such as XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and support teams in achieving financial goals.
