Job Title: Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team.

Job Summary

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of operational budgets, forecasting, and analysis. This role will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis is performed to assist with key decisions in the operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the financial forecast process, ensuring forecasted outcomes are incorporated into the financial plan.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure future strategies, project proposals, and business plans are incorporated into the annual budget and rolling forecast.
  • Coordinate industry benchmarking initiatives and gain alignment on establishing and progressing towards benchmarks when justified.
  • Design and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting processes.
  • Identify and maintain a suite of key performance indicators to be used by executives, regional department heads, and community-level leadership.
  • Develop scenario analysis processes and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the strategic planning process.
  • Engage with business case sponsors to test assumptions made in business cases.
  • Assist the transactions team with business case evaluation processes.
  • Lead financial performance reviews with regional and community-level leadership.
  • Improve and maintain the annual operating budget process.
  • Ensure continuous improvement for all FP&A processes.
  • Contribute to strong financial acumen across the company through financial mentoring and training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance, or commensurate work experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
  • Experience building or improving budget and forecast processes required.
  • Yardi Voyager experience beneficial.
  • Experience with budgeting systems implementations preferred.
What We Offer

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 based on experience. We also offer eligibility for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and other voluntary insurance options. All part-time and full-time team members are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan, paid time off, holiday pay, and discounts through Perk Spot.
