Role Objective

We seek a proactive and independent individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. The BioIVT team comprises seasoned scientists and internal sales support personnel dedicated to surpassing the company's business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues, ensuring their involvement in the intricate support processes this role entails. Comprehensive training will be provided to familiarize you with our diverse range of products and associated services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve regional sales objectives quarterly, aligned with the annual corporate sales strategy.
  • Assist in proposal preparation in conjunction with operations colleagues.
  • Negotiate intricate business agreements.
  • Uphold and enhance the Company's value proposition and professional reputation through exemplary professionalism, competence, and integrity.
  • Identify, cultivate, and sustain customer relationships within the sales territory, encompassing lead generation, cold calling, customer sales interactions, and follow-ups.
  • Formulate and execute strategies for developing key account business, including organizing specific promotions such as table shows, national tradeshows, and technical seminars.
  • Deliver presentations to diverse customer groups, including scientists, quality assurance, purchasing, and others as needed.
  • Report relevant field activity information to the Regional Business Development Director, including customer feedback and competitive actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of the Company's products and services continuously.
  • Stay informed on pertinent scientific literature related to the application of the Company's offerings and similar competitive products.
  • Develop and manage a customer database for all relevant accounts within the sales region.
  • Provide ongoing market feedback regarding the Company's competitiveness.
  • Document all customer interactions in the designated contact management software.
  • Develop and maintain a business plan to forecast and achieve sales targets.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with geographic business development management leaders to establish an efficient sales-team matrix structure.

  • Ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • BA/BS in a science or business-related field, with a minimum of 4 years of commercial life science experience (microbiology, biology, chemistry, or biochemistry preferred).
  • Experience in setting goals and managing performance metrics.
  • At least 3 years of sales or business development experience representing complex life science products and/or services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and diagnostics companies.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the drug discovery process are essential for this role.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in the life sciences is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally, with potential international travel requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
