This is a Full-Time W2 role, with no subcontracting or C2C arrangements.

Overview:
DataSoft Technologies, Inc. is in search of a Project Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX.

The primary objective of this role is to strategize and execute tasks that require sound technical judgment in the assessment, organization, and management of project assignments on a global scale.

This position is accountable for managing and coordinating project activities in accordance with contractual obligations, ensuring safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed projects.

As an entry-level position, this role is designed to cultivate a deeper understanding of project management principles and practices.

The individual will learn and apply established methodologies and techniques to achieve work objectives.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and coordination of comprehensive project plans and timelines, while monitoring activities, progress, and milestones.
  • Support the creation and management of project effort hours, cost estimates, and budgets, while tracking performance against these metrics.
  • Facilitate the preparation, delivery, and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages.
  • Coordinate efforts between design, procurement, material management, and construction teams regarding technical and scheduling requirements.
  • Assist the Project Director/Project Manager (PD/PM) with assigned tasks.
  • Prepare for and coordinate internal and client project and design reviews.
  • Maintain effective communication with the client's technical staff.
  • Analyze issues and provide independent recommendations for solutions to complex problems in alignment with organizational and project objectives.
  • Plan and organize personal work assignments, while executing tasks assigned by management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and global standards.


Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Working knowledge of Federal regulations, including Department of Energy Orders, applicable to design.
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in relevant design/field experience.
