Advanced Clinician Role at Vanderbilt University Medical Center

The Advanced Clinician will be responsible for managing a distinct patient population, performing outpatient and inpatient care, and facilitating discharges and outpatient follow-up. This role requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and education, as well as the ability to ensure adherence to clinical pathways and protocols.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or a related field, and be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Tennessee. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the health status of patients and develop individualized plans of care.
- Perform and document thorough histories and physical examinations for acute and complex chronically ill patients.
- Order and collect data using appropriate assessment techniques and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, with the potential for bonuses and incentives based on performance.
