Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Supervisor to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing services, ensuring that patient care needs are met, and providing optimal service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the nursing care of patients, ensuring that their needs are met during their stay.
  • Provide physicians and patients with excellent service, in a cost-effective manner.
  • Contribute to an environment that supports personal and professional growth of self and others.
  • Exhibit dependability and coordinate individual professional practice with a focus on hospital mission, values, and vision.
  • Participate as a member of the hospital management team.
  • Oversee the coordination of patient placement, serve as a resource to the clinical staff, and provide assistance with conflict resolution.
  • Effectively coordinate the overall activity of the hospital in conjunction with the Directors of each department, according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Requirements
  • 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
  • LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others.
