About the Role

Barings is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Structured Credit Investment Team as a Secondary Analyst. This role will be responsible for providing critical support to our portfolio managers and analysts in the underwriting, analysis, and monitoring of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily flow and quality of data from third-party vendors, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Produce and support client reporting in cooperation with other teams across Barings.
  • Support CLO analysts in the CLO underwriting process with initial deal setup.
  • Assist other team members with various time-sensitive ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Work with the Development Team to test and implement system enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 0-3 years' experience in financial services, investment management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
