About Enterprise Credit
The Enterprise Credit division functions as a cohesive credit assessment, oversight, and product management entity, overseeing credit for clients across the bank's diverse business sectors, which include individuals, corporations, and institutions. To ensure a seamless experience for our clients, the Enterprise Credit team collaborates with various partners in Global Risk, Global Operations, Global Banking, and Consumer & Small Business Banking.

Enterprise Credit Analyst Internship Details
The Enterprise Credit Summer Analyst Internship spans 10 weeks, offering comprehensive exposure to our credit assessment, oversight, business controls, and data management practices. The program prioritizes practical training supplemented by classroom learning aimed at enhancing technical, analytical, and professional competencies.
Our objective is to provide you with the chance to build on your academic foundation, specifically in technical skills, industry insights, and familiarity with a corporate environment while advancing your career based on your interests and background. Your training and development are our foremost priority, featuring extensive formal training at the program's commencement and ongoing support, events, and mentorship throughout.
The Enterprise Credit program encompasses five distinct tracks to cater to the various business sectors. These tracks include:
- Consumer Credit
- Global Wealth & Investment Management Credit (Serving our Merrill and Private Bank clients)
- Global Commercial Banking (GCB), Asset-Based Finance, and Commercial Real Estate Credit
- Global Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Markets Credit
- Data Analytics and Business Controls/Process Optimization
This internship is specifically for the Consumer Credit track.
Consumer Credit Insights:
Applicants for this credit portfolio should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles to assess personal financial statements. The teams dedicated to credit for Consumer clients are organized by product categories:
- Mortgage Loans: Assisting clients with home purchases or refinancing
- Home Equity Lines/Loans: Aiding clients in leveraging the equity in their homes
- Vehicle Financing: Supporting clients with vehicle purchases or refinancing
- Credit Cards: Providing clients with a variety of credit card products
Within the Consumer Credit division, we also have teams focused on data analytics, process optimization, and comprehensive product management. These teams assist the Consumer Credit division with management routines, data, and process requirements to ensure optimal business performance.
Daily Responsibilities
Throughout the 10-week internship, you will engage in a range of daily activities based on the credit portfolio to which you are assigned. You will collaborate with a team of credit professionals to support clients in our Consumer banking sector. Potential tasks may include:
- Analyzing client financial data, identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and evaluating collateral to determine creditworthiness
- Participating in discussions regarding loan structures and completing loan documentation
- Conducting monitoring activities
- Reviewing and assessing collateral to ensure compliance with requirements
- Evaluating completed client requests to ensure adherence to policies and procedures and assessing the adequacy of business controls
- Engaging in the comprehensive data management process to understand how credit data is utilized internally and shared with regulatory partners
Qualifications
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a graduation timeframe between December 2025 and June 2026
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred
- A track record of high achievement

- Other related disciplines
- Candidates should demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity, a commitment to operational excellence, and a focus on achieving sustainable results.
- Additionally, students should possess strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office, as well as exhibit proficiency in leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, analytical skills, verbal and written communication, and professionalism.
