Job Overview

As a Public Relations and Media Strategist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting Hallandale Pharmacy's public image across various media channels. Your responsibilities will also encompass marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing our services within the community. This position will report directly to the VP of Business Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company's public image across multiple media platforms
  • Manage customer feedback and online reviews
  • Administer all corporate social media profiles and the official website
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and content plan
  • Create and distribute content through press releases, social media, websites, and other channels
  • Identify and leverage press opportunities arising from current events
  • Respond promptly to media inquiries
  • Ensure alignment of key messages with essential business objectives
  • Act as the organization's media representative and spokesperson
  • Organize and conduct press conferences and media briefings
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in the media landscape
  • Monitor the effectiveness of online and offline campaigns, providing detailed reports
  • Generate monthly analytics reports to track social media growth and engagement
  • Analyze web traffic and optimize SEO strategies
  • Report on customer reviews and feedback trends
  • Enhance the organization's social media presence and following

Essential Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in conducting press conferences and media briefings
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years in Media Relations, Public Relations, or related fields such as Marketing and Online Reputation Management
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, media, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated success in managing social media platforms
  • Experience in developing and maintaining corporate websites
  • Proven track record in creating effective media campaigns

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes as needed
