KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Product Owner, Strategic Initiatives within our Deal Advisory and Strategy Analytics team.

Responsibilities:
Formulate and effectively communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives and market demands for data, analytics, and AI solutions within consulting services; convert this vision into actionable roadmaps and backlog items.

Lead interdisciplinary teams of designers, data scientists, and engineers to guarantee efficient and effective project execution.

Facilitate sprint planning, review sessions, and retrospectives, ensuring the team remains focused on key tasks and objectives.

Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and developers to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress and results.

Drive product innovation in data, analytics, and AI by investigating emerging technologies, business opportunities, and user insights; foster a culture of creativity and experimentation within the team.

Oversee product launches, ensuring they meet quality benchmarks and user expectations.

Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of recent technical Product Owner experience, preferably with a background in engineering.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.

Demonstrated success in managing all facets of a product throughout its lifecycle.

Strong technical foundation with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, including basic IT principles.

Experience in an Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and familiarity with planning and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, Lucidchart, Mural, and Figma.

Knowledge of deal advisory, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate strategy is desirable; experience in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is a plus.

Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
