As a Lead Product Owner at iManage, you will...

Act as a vital link between our product management team and engineering personnel. You will coordinate the product release timelines with program and release managers, as well as the support and deployment teams.

Your role as Lead Product Owner involves passionately advocating for both user and business perspectives throughout the software development process. You will ensure that our solutions effectively address customer challenges and enhance their productivity. You will also evaluate whether the software meets user needs and aligns with our standards of excellence.

Your Responsibilities Include...

  • Strategic Collaboration: Working closely with Product Management to comprehend and prioritize overarching requests while providing strategic insights to shape product roadmaps.
  • Technical Guidance: Offering expert advice to translate intricate business requirements into actionable, innovative solutions for the engineering team, showcasing a profound understanding of both technical and business domains.
  • Capability Enhancement: Leading initiatives to improve team skills through advanced data analysis, thorough documentation, mentorship, and the adoption of best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocating team resources and skills to align with project goals, while effectively communicating updates and progress to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Promoting collaboration across various departments to align objectives, timelines, and priorities, ensuring a cohesive approach to product development.
  • User-Centric Approach: Fostering a culture of empathy and customer focus, utilizing insights into user needs to guide product decisions and enhancements.
  • Agile Leadership: Facilitating Agile processes and ceremonies, promoting the development of realistic and impactful plans while nurturing a culture of adaptability and innovation.
  • Quality Oversight: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality features by evaluating their correctness, stability, performance, and reliability, guaranteeing that products meet or exceed expectations.
  • Team Motivation: Inspiring team members through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identifying and addressing challenges, proposing alternative solutions, and escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serving as a key point of contact between the team and senior management, highlighting achievements and advocating for team needs.

Your Qualifications Include...

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in product management or related roles, demonstrating strategic leadership and impact.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic environments, adept at navigating ambiguity and achieving results.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools; industry certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Extensive experience with tools like Jira, Aha, and Confluence, with a strong capability to leverage technology for process optimization and collaboration.
