High Risk Medical Professional

Regal Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Risk Medical Professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary care and perform selective medical services under the direction of our Supervising Physician and Medical Director.
Job Summary:This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in primary care and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients
- Review patient records and interpret data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Perform physical exams and record findings, establishing presumptive diagnoses
- Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed
- Administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications, preparing written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances
- Suture wounds, perform wound care, and conduct biopsies as needed and directed by supervising physicians
- Interview and advise patients on health and illness prevention, recommending community resources as needed
- Provide patient education and instruction on medications and treatment
- Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation
- Perform independent evaluations and treatment procedures in emergency situations
- Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits
- Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Have 10% of visit records signed off by the supervising physician
- Graduation from an accredited Physician's Assistant Program or valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse Practitioner License in the State of CA
- State Nurse Practitioner Certification in appropriate specialty
- Current BLS certification
- 1-3 years NP/PA experience with confidence to practice independently
- Advanced assessment skills necessary
- Urgent Care experience helpful
- Knowledge of HCC guideline preferred
- Managed Care experience a plus
