We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Risk Management Coordinator to join our team at St. Bernardine Medical Center. The successful candidate will assist with event reporting, investigation, and review, as well as root cause analysis and coordination of Risk Management/Patient Safety activities.
Responsibilities- Assist with event reporting, investigation, and review, as well as root cause analysis and coordination of Risk Management/Patient Safety activities.
- Maintain data management systems for Risk/Patient Safety programs.
- Participate in system office initiatives and programs to mitigate identified risks at the facility, resulting in reduced costs, reduced adverse patient outcomes, and safer patient care.
- Coordinate claim team requests and collaborate with other key stakeholders to implement learnings from claims.
- Oversee the coordination of all legal documents and meetings related to hospital liability.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in an acute care setting with experience in or working knowledge of quality management, case management, patient relations/safety risk management, or related areas.
- Manage conflict resolution in a variety of circumstances.
- Perform well under pressure.
- Expert Microsoft Office skills; Outlook, Word, and Excel.
