High Risk Medical Professional

Regal Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated High Risk Medical Professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of our Supervising Physician and Medical Director.
Responsibilities- Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients, reviewing patient records to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Interpret and integrate data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan, utilizing principles of prevention.
- Perform a complete physical exam and record findings, establishing presumptive diagnosis.
- Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures, administering injections, immunizations, and oral medications as needed.
- Suture wounds, perform wound care, and perform biopsies as directed by the supervising physicians.
- Interview and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention, recommending community resources to meet patient and family needs.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, providing patient education.
- Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation, performing independent evaluations and treatment procedures in emergency situations.
- Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits, attending required meetings and participating in committees as requested.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to company safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician's Assistant Program or valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse Practitioner License in the State of CA.
- State Nurse Practitioner Certification in appropriate specialty and current BLS certification.
- 1-3 years NP/PA experience with confidence to practice independently, advanced assessment skills necessary.
- Urgent Care experience helpful, knowledge of HCC guidelines preferred, and managed care experience a plus.
