As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), you will collaborate closely with physicians to oversee and administer medication-assisted therapies. Your role will also involve consulting with therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure that treatment plans are tailored to meet the evolving needs of our patients.

Qualifications:

  • Current DEA and State licensure required
  • Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in accordance with state regulations; Family Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply
  • Continuing education credits must be maintained as per licensing board requirements
  • Experience or familiarity with substance abuse treatment is preferred
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and BLS is mandatory

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical assessments as directed by the supervising physician.
  • Oversee nursing staff and medication dispensing operations.
  • Manage medication storage and inventory protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and current patient data is maintained in electronic records.
  • Coordinate patient care with primary care providers or other prescribing physicians.
  • Engage in monthly consultations with counselors regarding individual patient medical needs.
  • Perform health assessments at patient intake and annually thereafter.
  • Participate in collaborative case planning with counselors and medical directors as necessary.
