Key Responsibilities

Evaluates patients and/or populations; formulates, implements, and assesses care plans; accurately documents and communicates information in both written and verbal formats. Executes diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards necessary for patient care. Serves as a clinical authority utilizing evidence-based practices for policies, procedures, documentation, and skills. Aids in the education, training, and development of both new and existing staff members. Engages with the work unit community by remaining informed of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, and contributing to Quality Improvement initiatives. Utilizes technology and informatics to enhance healthcare outcomes. Commits to ongoing professional development for oneself and others. Contributes to the division and/or specialty objectives and the Hospital's Strategic Plan.

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION: Master of Science degree or equivalent qualification.

LICENSURE: Must hold a valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Ohio.

CERTIFICATIONS: Must maintain national certification as an APRN in the relevant population focus for the position, or as a PA.

Physical Requirements
