The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive perioperative management for surgical patients, emphasizing postoperative care, wound management, and survivorship strategies.

Role Responsibilities
The Advanced Practice Provider is tasked with delivering healthcare services to adult patients, operating under a supervisory agreement with an attending physician affiliated with the medical center.

Position Highlights
The APP will offer healthcare services to adult patients under the guidance of a licensed physician. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing care during both acute and chronic illness phases.
  • Providing education and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Promoting health and preventive measures.
  • Referring patients to other healthcare providers and community resources as necessary.

Essential Qualifications
Current licensure and authority to practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Ohio is required. Candidates must have:

  • Graduated from a Nurse Practitioner program eligible for national certification examination.
  • A Master's degree in Nursing or
  • Graduated from a Physician Assistant program eligible for national certification.
