Key Responsibilities

Evaluates patients and/or populations; formulates, implements, and assesses care plans; meticulously documents and communicates information in both written and verbal formats. Executes diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards as required for patient care. Serves as a clinical authority on policies, procedures, documentation, and competencies, utilizing evidence-based practices. Aids in the education, training, and development of both new and existing staff members. Actively participates in the work unit community by staying informed of changes, engaging in data collection or auditing, and contributing to Quality Improvement initiatives. Utilizes technology and informatics to enhance healthcare outcomes. Commits to ongoing professional development for oneself and others. Contributes to the division and/or specialty objectives and the Hospital's Strategic Plan.

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION: Master of Science degree or equivalent qualification.

LICENSURE: Must hold a valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Ohio.

CERTIFICATIONS: Must maintain national certification as an APRN in the relevant population focus for the position, or as a PA.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Note the frequency of each requirement as Constantly (100%), Frequently (34-66%), and Occasionally (0-33%). Include any lifting requirements with pound limits. Sitting, communicating via phone/in-person, typing on a keyboard, standing/walking.
