Position Overview:
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the collection of outstanding receivables from the current customer base, addressing billing discrepancies, minimizing overdue accounts, and overseeing all facets of credit and collections.
  • Implement strategies to decrease overdue account balances.
  • Design and execute credit and collection initiatives along with budgetary plans.
  • Maintain precise records and generate reports on collection activities by documenting status updates for each customer account.
  • Evaluate and determine the creditworthiness of both new and existing clients utilizing external credit risk assessment tools and reports.
  • Provide assistance to customers regarding collection inquiries, process payments and refunds, handle account adjustments, and resolve discrepancies and short payments.
  • Issue monthly delinquency notifications and reminders to clients.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for the sales department, including accounts receivable aging, month-to-date sales, year-to-date sales, and open credit memo reports.
  • Supervise the credit card payment process and monitor expired card tracking.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections or a related field
  • Strong numerical aptitude
