Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Manage the collection of outstanding receivables from the current customer base, resolve billing discrepancies, and minimize overdue accounts.
- Implement strategies to decrease overdue account balances.
- Design and oversee credit and collections initiatives and budgetary plans.
- Maintain precise records and reports on collection activities, documenting status updates for each customer account.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of both new and existing clients using external credit risk assessment tools.
- Provide assistance to customers regarding collection inquiries, process payments and refunds, adjust accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Send monthly reminders and delinquency notices to clients.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to the sales team, including accounts receivable aging, month-to-date sales, year-to-date sales, and open credit memo reports.
- Supervise the credit card payment process and track expired cards.
- High School Diploma required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections or a related field.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
