About the Role

XSG is seeking a highly skilled Billing Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Management: Prepare and issue invoices to clients based on contract terms and services rendered.
  • Accounts Receivable: Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Billing Discrepancies: Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any client billing inquiries.
  • Billing Records: Maintain and update billing records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary billing information and support.
  • Billing Reports: Prepare and distribute regular billing reports to management.
  • Month-End Closing: Assist in the month-end closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all billing activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the billing process for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Audit Support: Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Billing Coordinator, Billing Specialist, or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of billing procedures and accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
