Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Advanced Technology Systems Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing resources and meeting financial objectives for our defense contracting and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Support the development and maintenance of Earned Value Management (EVM) systems using complex Excel models in conjunction with Deltek Cost Point.
    • Review revenue in Cost Point to ensure accuracy and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare financial analyses and variance explanations for monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
    • Ensure adequate funding availability and prepare timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Cost Control and Compliance
    • Audit monthly labor, ODC, material, and travel costs against ceiling and funding.
    • Support the preparation of accurate and timely billing to customers in coordination with the Controller.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis and Support
    • Perform ad-hoc cost and performance analysis as required.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education
    • Must possess a strong background working with multiple contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus (CPxF), Time & Material (T&M), and hybrid contracts.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting with a minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience or a master's level degree with 2 years of professional experience.
    • Experience with Deltek's Costpoint is required.
    • US Citizenship is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Billing experience is a plus.
Work Environment

The work is typically performed in an office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see. Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
