Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collections Assistant II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be attentive to detail, and be motivated to perform quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage collections requests from internal and external customers
  • Work with Ursa Space tools to execute feasibility and tasking for collections and provide feedback to the Engineering team for tool improvements
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to obtain feasibilities, confirm options, and task imagery
  • Understand satellite collection parameters to support specific applications
  • Relay tasking information to customers
  • Support workflow development and document processes for obtaining catalog information, ingesting images, and placing satellite data orders
  • Make recommendations for process enhancements
  • Keep vendor technical information updated on Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to track multiple projects

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience with tasking satellite data and/or imagery
  • Experience in a geographic or geospatial field
