Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Specimen Collector to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our patient services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, creating a positive and reassuring experience.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on phlebotomy and patient services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player.
