Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in the microbiology department of the laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in Medical Technology or AAS in Medical Technology from an accredited school, MLS or equivalent, and MLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification preferred.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the testing of laboratory specimens and the reporting of results in all areas of the core laboratory.
  • Automation and middleware experience a plus.
  • Follows laboratory policies and procedures and maintains quality control practices in the laboratory.

Qualifications:
  • Education: BS Degree in Medical Technology or AAS in Medical Technology from an accredited school, MLS or equivalent.
  • Certification / License: MLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of working experience with high complex laboratory automation and basic computer knowledge.

Benefits:
  • Hospital differentials: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends.
