As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our team, providing exceptional patient experiences and helping us achieve our goal of transforming healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide best-in-class venipuncture services to patients of all ages
- Perform and assist with extended scope duties, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
- Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
- Support our providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties, such as biometric screening forms, medical record and consult review, billing inquiries, and DOH reporting
- Master our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System, 1Life
- Active Medical Assistant certification from NHA, AAMA, NCCT, or the AMT
- Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program or completion of relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
- Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
- Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
- Competitive hourly rate of $75 per hour based on a standard full-time schedule

- Disability insurance - One Medical pays 100% of the cost of Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance
This is a full-time role with shifts generally taking place between 8:00am-6:00pm based in our Darien, CT, New Canaan, CT, and Westport, CT offices. Flex Lab Services Specialists lend support to multiple One Medical locations in a market and location and schedule are subject to change.
