Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is a vital member of our team, serving as the face of our company to patients who visit us for their health routine or to make life-defining health decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing, adhering to established practices and procedures.
  • Interact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens with skill, safety, and accuracy.
  • Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties, following established practices and procedures.
  • Maintain required records and documentation, demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience.
  • One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
