We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at VIP Hospitality Group LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships to increase revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Account Management: Lead efforts to market key accounts' potential for the hotel, focusing on room nights and event bookings.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop business through proactive direct sales, emails, appointment calls, and hotel tours, creating cohesive sales strategies and setting goals to meet those objectives.
- Revenue Management: Ensure guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services are approved within budget, working closely with Revenue Management to negotiate the best rate for the hotel's goals and occupancy.
- Event Planning: Produce sales contracts, rate agreements, and banquet/event orders, handling inquiry calls and providing client proposals to achieve the best results for the hotel.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads to facilitate events and coordinate activities, mentoring hotel employees as part of the leadership team to help them achieve individual & team objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years' of sales experience required, with 3 - 5 years of experience in Hospitality being a plus.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, and knowledge and understanding of room-blocking, RFPs, and Contracts.
- Compensation: The base salary and bonus mix is based on sales measured against goals, with tips earned for any event the Sales Manager participates in.
