Job Summary

The Reliability Services Business Development Manager is a key role within Wilcox + Flegel, responsible for acquiring new, profitable business and maintaining professional partnerships with existing customers to drive market position and financial growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and profitability within the sales territory
  • Generate leads, qualify prospects, and advance a robust sales pipeline
  • Organize and lead sales presentations and proposals for prospects
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Establish and develop business relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Manage existing accounts and conduct quarterly or annual business reviews
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share information and drive sales growth
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • 3 years proven new business acquisition and consultative selling experience; 5 years preferred
  • Strong technical and business aptitude required
  • Unencumbered driver's license and current auto insurance
  • MLT and MLA Required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
Working Conditions

The Reliability Services Business Development Manager will work in a variety of environments, including office, warehouse, equipment shop, customer locations, and outdoors. The role requires frequent travel in the market/territory (up to 90%) with some overnight travel required.

Physical Requirements

The position requires standing or walking, driving a vehicle, bending, crouching, and repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement. Occasional lifting (50 lbs.) may be required.

Equipment

The role requires the use of office equipment, simple hand tools, fuel and/or lube related equipment, and a vehicle.
