Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Amplify Recruiting. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business development in targeted and represented business segments to continually refresh a new client pipeline for increased revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Sales Manager to implement a strategic plan to engage and close new business across all product segments applicable, based largely upon current industry trends.
  • Utilize analytics, marketing, QA, and other cross-functionalities to assist in creating leverage for new business opportunities across all applicable product categories and vertical markets.
  • Appropriately transition converted clients (after 6 months - 1 year) to the Account Management team for ongoing business management and continued business development.
  • Continually monitor sales goals, metrics, and KPIs; communicate roadblocks and strategize with the Vice President for goal attainment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in B2B Sales and business development.
  • Results and commission-driven; strong history of closing new business.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills.
  • Tenacious and professionally persistent.
  • Creative, big-picture thinker and willingness to take risks outside the box.
  • Excellent presentation skills with a keen ability to address a variety of audiences through a variety of mediums (verbal, technology-driven, written).
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong planning and project management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong desire to learn new products and systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, free of accidents and incidents.
  • Experience in the food industry, preferred.
