The Client Support Analyst is tasked with serving as the initial point of contact for both client-facing and internal teams seeking technical support for Paycom software issues related to designated products reported by clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Address and resolve low to medium urgency technical inquiries and tickets regarding product functionality and best practices from clients and internal stakeholders, adhering to established service level agreements; escalate unresolved issues to higher tiers of support.

Ensure compliance with SLAs for ticket response and resolution times.

Identify and categorize reasons for ticket resolutions.

Act as the subject matter expert on assigned Paycom software products, delivering exceptional troubleshooting, resolution, and service to clients and client-facing departments.

Manage workload through Jira Service Desk and other project management tools as necessary.


Analyze technical tickets for trends and suggest potential corrective measures such as process enhancements, workflow standardization, software updates, knowledge articles, training materials, and client communications to foster client independence and employee growth.



Assist in developing educational resources for all levels of Paycom product knowledge (basic, intermediate, advanced, expert), covering areas such as troubleshooting, frequently asked questions, setup, and best practices.

Maintain expert-level knowledge of assigned products through collaborative relationships with Quality Assurance and Product Management teams.

Comprehend business objectives related to client product usage and relay client feedback to Product Management for product improvement or adaptation.

Collaborate with the development team to escalate actual system issues and initiate projects aimed at resolving these issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:
External

Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years in customer service or 2 years in supporting or troubleshooting technical issues.

Proficient in Confluence, Jira Service Desk, Zoom, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams.

Skills/Abilities:
Familiarity with Software Development Procedures such as the SDLC, code merging, deployment processes, and Agile methodologies.

Basic understanding of technical terminology related to servers, databases, and APIs.

Able to resolve simple and routine problems with direct supervision.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
