Customer Service Manager Job Description

The Customer Service Manager plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences at Binny's Beverage Depot. Reporting to the General Manager and Assistant Store Manager, this individual is responsible for motivating and inspiring the team to achieve store goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently create a welcoming environment for customers and respond promptly to their inquiries and needs.
  • Observe staff members' customer engagement and interactions, providing guidance to improve the customer experience.
  • Demonstrate leadership by providing high levels of customer service, driving sales, and handling complex sales.
  • Conduct new employee orientations, train, and coach Store Associates.
  • Utilize company tools to diagnose opportunities and develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Regularly communicate with General Manager and Assistant Manager to discuss strengths, opportunities, and trends in business to increase sales.
  • Provide direction, support, and ongoing feedback to staff members.
  • Assist in the hiring process to meet business needs and actively recruit to fill open positions.
  • Ensure company standards are met for store and associate appearance.
  • Assist with planning and adjusting schedules to maximize sales while following payroll expectations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all merchandising and sales promotions in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • 1-2 years retail management experience with supervisory and training/coaching skills.
  • Full-time employment with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Consistent and regular attendance required.
