Job Summary

Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Clinical Coord Surgery to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Current Compact or Texas RN License
  • Associate Degree, Nursing
  • One year of clinical experience in OR
