Volt is seeking a Remote Aviation Sales Account Executive with a prominent industry leader specializing in certified instruments, avionics, and power solutions for the global aerospace sector. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving business growth by engaging in tradeshows, customer interactions, identifying new product opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to address power requirements.
As an OEM Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering continuous growth across product lines and within the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Defense markets, while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Generating leads, cultivating relationships, and successfully closing opportunities with targeted OEMs.
  • Researching and analyzing current products and future industry trends, including competitive product positioning and market opportunities.
  • Creating, coordinating, and delivering impactful sales presentations to potential and existing partners.
  • Leading the development of product proposals (RFP responses) and compliance documentation.
  • Overseeing the negotiation, administration, and execution of long-term contracts and agreements to establish strong, enduring partnerships and programs.
  • Acting as the primary liaison with OEMs and Service Centers.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on Lithium-ion batteries, power conversion solutions, and avionics systems.
  • Participating in industry trade shows as necessary.

This position is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of direct aviation experience, ideally with exposure to aviation electrical and avionics systems. OEM experience is essential.
  • A proven track record in relationship management and delivering superior customer service.
  • Strong negotiation and project/program management capabilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A keen attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Salary: $80-120K annually
*The offered pay range for a successful candidate will be determined based on various factors, including education, work experience, job location, specific duties, certifications, and more.
