Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient registration, scheduling, and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the management of physician schedules, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process changes as needed.
  • Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types, ensuring timely and accurate communication with patients and providers.
  • Monitor and assess workflow, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process changes as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a patient service representative role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
