Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient registration, scheduling, and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring that records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist with the management of physician schedules and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
  • Monitor and assess workflow to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a patient service or medical office setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
