Our Mission Assurance organization is seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior Principal Engineer NDT to join our team of experts in the field of non-destructive testing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing in-field non-destructive inspections of aircraft, inspecting composite aerospace components, and developing and implementing unique non-destructive inspection techniques, methods, and procedures.
Working closely with design, project, and quality engineers, the ideal candidate will select and implement the best NDT method to ensure product quality at the lowest cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-field non-destructive inspections of aircraft
- Inspect composite aerospace components
- Develop and implement unique non-destructive inspection techniques, methods, and procedures
- Work with design, project, and quality engineers to select and implement the best NDT method
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or high school diploma with 9 years of experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Active DoD Clearance
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access
- Must be able to work any shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Phased-Array or MAUS experience
- Multiple Level III ASNT certification
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Special Program Access
