Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical systems for satellite antennas, subsystems, and interfaces
- Conduct mechanical analysis, electronics packaging, and thermal architecture studies
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for mechanical design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Present engineering design review materials to customers and executive team
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university or institution
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in space antenna and payload mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in professional mechanical and FEA CAD tools, such as Ansys Mechanical, SolidWorks Simulation, and Thermal Desktop
- Experience with CNC manufacturing and GD&T
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Python, C++, or other programming languages
- Experience with large, deployable antenna arrays
- Robotics and control systems experience
CesiumAstro offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $165,000 per year, company stock options, and a generous benefits package featuring health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, and retirement plans.
