Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage various Human Resources policies, procedures, standards, and compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires to ensure a comprehensive understanding of organizational programs, procedures, and policies.
  • Offer assistance to staff regarding HR-related inquiries, including benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the performance management framework, including goal establishment, performance assessments, and coaching initiatives.
  • Assist the HR Manager in overseeing compensation programs, including hourly and merit-based planning, job descriptions, performance evaluations, and organizational structures.
  • Maintain and audit Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Address employee relations matters, conducting prompt investigations into concerns, compiling summaries, and reporting findings to relevant stakeholders. Provide managerial guidance on employee discipline and termination processes.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollment, modifications, and terminations.
  • Exhibit a forward-thinking and strategic approach to HR processes and systems, fostering a culture of change and utilizing influence to drive positive outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and adherence to all HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to various HR-related projects and initiatives as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in conducting investigations related to employee relations issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Paycor HCM is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while fostering positive working relationships across all organizational levels, with the capability to manage conflicts effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, insight into group dynamics, and a high tolerance for ambiguity and change are essential. Must be self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of prioritizing tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
